After 13 years teaching high school mathematics at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, I've seen how much students can benefit from having the time to work through difficult concepts individually.
In a classroom, even an excellent teacher has limited time to identify exactly where each student's understanding breaks down. One-on-one tutoring gives us the opportunity to slow down, identify misconceptions, strengthen underlying skills, and work through challenging mathematics at the student's own pace.
My goal isn't simply to help students complete their homework or prepare for the next test. I want them to develop a deeper understanding of mathematics and become more confident, independent problem solvers.
